Is black gold started to melt.?

India was special for the spices and contiments for very old time. The large part of Indias earnings through the export of agricultural commodities. I think black gold called black pepper had major share for the export money. Now we face the situation that the export quantity decreased drastically and the effects also in export earnings why?????
The data provided by spices board clearly shown the situation. 
Yeah there is some common issues - diseases, pests, production cost. 
But the ultimate cause i think vietnam pepper and reduction of import tax less explosure of value addition, lack of proper helps from the govt
The throning of vietnam remembers something about ASEAN and the commercial contracts and policies.

    From the graph we can analyse that there is no big variation in production or export Quantity.But rate of the produce is decreased drastically.From this we can say that major problem is low price of the produce.Three years before rate of 1 kg of Pepper is about 600-700Rs,But now it is about 300-350Rs. Vietnam can produce pepper with a cheap production cost than India.Due to our foreign policies Indian companies can easily import foreign pepper with a cheap rate.
